Introduction to the grouping code standard of cutting tools high speed steel

the national standard gb/t17111 "grouping code of cutting tools high speed steel" stipulates the grouping code of high speed steel used for manufacturing cutting tools, such as taps, drills, end mills, etc., which is applicable to the classification of high speed steel used for cutting tools. However, the standard does not stipulate the composition of high-speed steel, which is stipulated by gb/t 9943

in this standard, conventional high-speed steel is defined as high-speed steel produced by traditional ingot smelting process, while powder metallurgy high-speed steel is defined as high-speed steel produced by powder metallurgy process
